Taijuan Emmanuel Walker, born on August 13, 1992, is an American Major League Baseball pitcher for the New York Mets (MLB). He was previously with the Seattle Mariners, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Toronto Blue Jays.



Walker was picked by the Seattle Mariners in the first round of the 2010 MLB draft, with the 43rd overall choice. Walker and the Mariners agreed to terms on a one-year contract with an $800,000 signing bonus.

[3] He made four relief appearances for the Rookie League AZL Mariners, going 1–1 with a 1.29 earned run average (ERA). Walker was ranked fourth among the Mariners’ top ten prospects for the 2011 season by Baseball America.




Prior to the 2012 season, he was listed as the Mariners’ second top prospect and the 20th best overall. [5][6] Walker was chosen to participate in the 2012 All-Star Futures Game.
