Anthony DeSclafani, full name Anthony James DeSclafani and nicknamed Disco and T-Bone in his career is a well-known professional baseball player with the San Francisco Giants baseball team. Anthony plays as a pitcher for the team and earns an annual salary of $12 million from the Giants.



He was born in New Jersey on April 18, 1990. He played baseball in high school at Colts Neck High School) in New Jersey. After high school, he was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 22nd round of the 2008 MLB draft but he did not sign with them and chose college baseball over professional baseball.

He played college baseball for the Florida Gators baseball team at the University of Florida. Whiles in college, he played collegiate summer baseball in the Cape Cod Baseball League for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox.



After his college degree and amateur career, he was selected by the Toronto Blue Jays sixth round of the 2011 MLB draft. He signed with the Jays and received a signing bonus of $250,000. Before the start of the 2023 baseball season, the Blue Jays traded him to the Miami Marlins.

The San Francisco Giants signed him to their team in December 2020.
