Corey Dickerson was born McKenzie Corey Dickerson. He is known to be a professional baseball player from America. He plays as an outfielder for the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team.



Corey had his amateur career at Brookhaven Academy and also at the Meridian Community College in Meridian, Mississippi. In 2010, during the MLB draft, the Colorado Rockies drafted him in the 8th round of the draft. He signed with the Rockies and started his professional career that year playing with the Asheville Tourists of the Class A South Atlantic League.

Corey spent the 2012 season playing for the Tulsa Drillers of the Class AA Texas League and for the Modesto Nuts of the California League. He was named a California League mid-season All-Star that year and he also played in the Arizona Fall League that year.

In June 2013, the Rockies promoted him to the major leagues. He made his MLB debut that month for the Rockies. The Rockies traded him to the Tampa Bay Rays in January 2016. Two years after being with the Rays, they traded him to the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The Pirates also traded him to the Philadelphia Phillies in 2019. Corey signed with the Miami Marlins in January 2020 and in March 2022, he signed a one-year contract of $5 million with the St. Louis Cardinals.
