Cal Quantrill, a baseball player who presently throws for the Cleveland Guardians of Major League Baseball, is Paul John Quantrill’s son.

on the other hand, Paul John Quantrill is a Canadian who used to play right-handed reliever baseball professionally and is also the father of Cal Quantrill.

Between the years 1992 and 2005, he participated in Major League Baseball (MLB), with his longest stint coming with the Toronto Blue Jays, where he played for a total of six seasons.

Quantrill participated in 80 games or more on five different occasions, leading his league in pitching appearances for four seasons in a row, and did not walk more than 25 batters in a season beginning in 1996 and continuing fourth.

Since he retired, Quantrill has been residing in Port Hope, which is located in Ontario. Quantrill is a parent to three children: a boy and two girls.

Cal, his son, pitched for Stanford University and was taken by the San Diego Padres in the first round, eighth overall, in the 2016 Major League Baseball draft. He is now playing for the Cleveland Guardians.

Since the month of June 2016, Quantrill has been working with the Toronto Blue Jays organization as a special assistant.
