Frank J. Schwindel, born June 29, 1992, is an American professional baseball first baseman for the Major League Baseball Chicago Cubs. He formerly played in Major League Baseball with the Kansas City Royals and the Oakland Athletics.
Schwindel attended Livingston High School in Livingston, New Jersey. He attended St. John’s University and played collegiate baseball for the St. John’s Red Storm from 2011 to 2013.
In 2011, he was a member of the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League’s Riverhead Tomcats, and in 2012, he was a member of the New England Collegiate Baseball League’s Keene Swamp Bats. The Kansas City Royals selected Schwindel in the 18th round of the 2013 MLB Draft.
