Frank J. Schwindel, born June 29, 1992, is an American professional baseball first baseman for the Major League Baseball Chicago Cubs. He formerly played in Major League Baseball with the Kansas City Royals and the Oakland Athletics.

Schwindel attended Livingston High School in Livingston, New Jersey. He attended St. John’s University and played collegiate baseball for the St. John’s Red Storm from 2011 to 2013.

In 2011, he was a member of the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League’s Riverhead Tomcats, and in 2012, he was a member of the New England Collegiate Baseball League’s Keene Swamp Bats. The Kansas City Royals selected Schwindel in the 18th round of the 2013 MLB Draft.

In 64 games with the Idaho Falls Chukars in 2013, Schwindel hit.300/.336/.431/.767 with six home runs and 42 RBI.

He hit.280/.309/.500/.809 with 22 home runs and 75 RBI in 118 games with the Lexington Legends and Wilmington Blue Rocks in 2014.

He hit.252/.281/.383/.664 with 7 home runs and 54 RBI in 123 games with Wilmington and the Northwest Arkansas Naturals in 2015. He hit 270/.301/.446/.747 in 120 games with Arkansas in 2016, with 20 home runs and 68 RBI.
