After not recording any statistics in his first year with the East Lansing program, Sokol went on to record career highs of 31 receptions for 348 yards and two touchdowns over the course of the next three years (2016-2018).

In spite of the fact that Sokol did not produce much during his senior year, he was selected to participate in the Shrine Game.



In 2019, Sokol was not selected in the draft and ultimately agreed to terms with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent.

Following his release from the active roster during the organization’s final roster cuts, he was added to the practice squad on two different occasions before being removed by the team for the final time in October of that same year.

Later on in that season, the Jaguars signed Sokol, but then the team later dropped him before he was picked up by the Lions. He remained in the city of Detroit for the better part of the year that followed, leaving on October 24, 2020.

After re-signing with the Bolts a week later, Sokol was activated for the first time for the team’s game against the Broncos in week 16, which resulted in a victory for the Bolts.
