Maxwell Steven Muncy professionally called Max Muncy is a professional baseball player positioned as an infielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team. He is 1.83 m tall and weighs 95 kg.

He was born and raised in Texas on August 25, 1990, to Lee Muncy and Midge Muncy. He played baseball at Keller High School in Keller, Texas. When he completed in 2009, the Cleveland Indians selected him in the 41st round of the 2009 Major League Baseball draft but he did not sign with them as he wanted to attend the University and play college baseball.

Max then enrolled at Baylor University and played college baseball for the Baylor Bears. After he graduated from college, the Oakland Athletics selected him in the fifth round of the 2012 MLB draft.

The Oakland Athletics assigned him to play with the Burlington Bees of the Class A Midwest League to make his professional debut. He made his MLB debut for the Oaklands in April 2015.

In April 2017,  the Los Angeles Dodgers signed Max on a minor league contract. His contract with the Dodgers was extended on February 6, 2020. The contract is for three years and it is worth $26 million with a $13 million option for a fourth year.
