Robinson Chirinos is a catcher for the Baltimore Orioles of Major League Baseball at the moment. He was born in Punto Fijo, Venezuela, on June 5, 1985.

Chirinos debuted in Major League Baseball in 2011 with the Tampa Bay Rays. He also spent nearly five seasons with the Texas Rangers before retiring in 2018.

Chirinos joined the Astros in December 2018 after the Rangers declined his option for 2019. He also represented Venezuela in the 2017 World Baseball Classic as a member of the national baseball team.
