Nick Solak is an American professional baseball second baseman and outfielder for the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2019.

A pinch hitter in Louisville’s 6-1 win over Delaware on February 16, 2014, Solak made his collegiate baseball debut.

Solak had a lot of college firsts the next week. He got his first career RBI on a groundout against Eastern Kentucky on February 19 at home in the Cardinals’ season-opening game.

In the Cardinals’ 21–8 win over the Western Michigan Broncos two days later, he recorded his first hit and made his first start as a designated hitter the next day, when the Cardinals shut out the Broncos 8–0.

He was a member of the Bourne Braves of the Cape Cod League in the summer of 2015, where he was awarded an all-star.

Solak was a three-year letter winner for the University of Louisville Cardinals, appearing in 159 games (2014–2016) and earning College Freshman All-American and College All-American honors in consecutive years.
