Yadier Molina is a Puerto Rican professional baseball catcher for the St. Louis Cardinals of Major League Baseball (MLB), with whom he has played his entire 19-year MLB career.

Molina, a nine-time Rawlings Gold Glove and six-time Fielding Bible Award winner, is widely regarded as one of the greatest defensive catchers in baseball history, both for his blocking abilities and his caught stealing percentage.

With the Cardinals, he has won two World Series and four National League pennants in 12 postseason appearances. Two of the four World Baseball Classic (WBC) games that Molina has participated in for Puerto Rico have ended in silver medals.
