Frank J. Schwindel is an American professional baseball first baseman for the Major League Baseball Chicago Cubs who was born on June 29, 1992. He formerly played for the Kansas City Royals and the Oakland Athletics in Major League Baseball.
In Livingston, New Jersey, Schwindel attended Livingston High School. From 2011 to 2013, he attended St. John’s University and played collegiate baseball for the St. John’s Red Storm.
In 2011, he played for the Riverhead Tomcats of the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League, and in 2012, he played for the Keene Swamp Bats of the New England Collegiate Baseball League. Schwindel was drafted in the 18th round of the 2013 MLB Draft by the Kansas City Royals.
