Danny Duffy is a professional baseball pitcher for the Kansas City Royals in Major League Baseball (MLB). Danny made his major league debut in 2011 after being drafted in the third round of the 2007 MLB draft by the Royal Family.

The Royals traded Duffy and monetary considerations to the Los Angeles Dodgers on July 29, 2021, in exchange for a player to be named later.  To complete the transaction, the Royals acquired Zach Willeman on October 20.

Duffy tried to rehab his injuries, but he had a relapse, and the Dodgers shut him down.  During the off-season, Duffy underwent flexor tendon surgery.

Duffy signed a one-year contract with the Dodgers before the 2022 season, with an extra club option year.

A 2016 salary review indicated that Danny earns 4.225 million USD per year, which definitely increases by the year.
