Jacob Webb, the full name Jacob Lawrence Webb, is a professional baseball player of American descent currently with the Arizona Diamondbacks baseball team of the Major League Baseball(MLB). He plays as a pitcher for the team and wears the number 71 jersey for the team.

Jacob was born to Krissy and Jerry Webb on August 15, 1993, in Riverside, California in the USA. Jacob began his professional baseball career in 2014 after he was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 18th round of the 2014 MLB draft. He didn’t play any game in the 2015 minor league season as he had to undergo a Tommy John surgery.

During the 2016 season, he was assigned to play for the Rookie Advanced Danville Braves and the Class A Rome Braves and he spent the 2017 season playing for both the Class A-Advanced Florida Fire Frogs and the Double-A Mississippi Braves. He played for Mississippi Braves and the Triple-A Gwinnett Stripers in 2018 after which the Braves added him to their 40-man roster.

Jacob played for the Estrellas de Oriente of the Dominican Winter League during the 2018 off-season period. He made his MLB debut on April 16, 2021 whiles with the Braves. A year after, he was claimed off waivers by the Arizona Diamondbacks.
