Robinson Chirinos is a professional baseball player of Venezuelan descent who was born June 5, 1984, and plays as a catcher for the Baltimore Orioles baseball team. He wears the number 23 jersey for the team and has a height of 1.85m.



Robinson started his career playing for the Chicago Cubs baseball team in the year 2000. He played for the Cubs from 2001 till 2011 and then returned to play for them on a one-year contract deal in 2021. The Cubs traded him to the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team in 2011.

He was then promoted to the major leagues by the Rays after the trade. Two years after playing for the Rays, he was traded to the Texas Rangers baseball team where he played till 2018.



In 2018, the Houston Astros team signed Robinson on a one year contract. Robinson also played for the New York Mets around mid-2020. In the early parts of 2021, the New York Yankees signed a minor league contract with him.

Robinson finally signed a one year contract with the Baltimore Orioles in March 2022.
