Mitch White Dodgers Career

With the Arizona League Dodgers, White made his first appearance in a major league game.

When he made two starts for the Great Lakes Loons, he was promoted to the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes and finished the season with them.

He threw 22 innings without allowing an earned run in six starts for three different clubs in 2016.

For the year 2017, he made 19 starts in three levels, including nine for the Quakes, seven for the Drillers, and three for the Arizona Dodgers in rehab.

Between the three teams, he had a record of 3–2 with an earned run average of 2.93 and 88 strikeouts in 73.2 innings of work.

As a pitcher, White spent all of 2018 with the Tulsa Drillers, making 22 appearances and going 7-6 with a 4.53 ERA.

White began 2019 with the Triple-A Tulsa Drillers before being promoted to the Oklahoma City Dodgers of the Double-A Oklahoma League after seven starts.

A 4–6 record with a 5.09 ERA throughout the course of his 13 starts (including three relief appearances) is not bad. During the offseason, he was added to the team’s 40-man roster.

A day after he made his Major League debut, he was sent back down to the minors without playing a single inning.

After pitching a scoreless inning against the Texas Rangers on August 28, 2020, White recorded his first major league strikeout against Shin-Soo Choo.

His first major league win came against the Colorado Rockies on September 18, 2020, when he threw two scoreless innings of relief.
