with whom he shares a room. In December 2021, Chapman and Taylor, who later became his wife, tied the knot in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Chapman is known for his outstanding range, arm strength, and arm accuracy, which have earned him the reputation of being a great defender.

Because of his strong arm, he is able to field a hard-hit ball that is moving toward the right side of the field from a deeper position.

For his forehand, he gathers the ball with both hands, and for his backhand, he only uses one hand while maintaining a defensive crouch similar to that used in basketball.
