Miguel Amaya Parents: Who Are Miguel Amaya Parents?

Miguel Antonio Amaya is one of the minor league players in the Chicago Cubs organisation. Miguel plays as a catcher for the Cubs and was born on March 9, 1999, in Chitré in the country of Panama. 

Miguel had his non-professional career in his birth town and was signed with the Chicago Cubs as an international free agent in July 2015. He started his professional career in 2016 when the Cubs assigned him to play with the Dominican Summer League Cubs.

During the 2017 minor league season, he spent the season with the Eugene Emeralds and for the 2018 season, he was with the South Bend Cubs where he earned Midwest League All-Star honours. That year, the Cubs selected him to play in that year’s All-Star Futures Game.

The Cubs made him spend the 2019 season with the Myrtle Beach Pelicans and chose him again to play in the All-Star Futures Game. He was also chosen to play in the Arizona Fall League for the Mesa Solar Sox.

He was added to Cub’s 40–man roster in the 2019 season. He did not play a minor league game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the season because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Who Are Miguel Amaya’s Parents?

Miguel Amaya’s only known parent is his father. He is called Max Amaya and happens to be the mayor of Los Santos. His mother’s identity is not known.
