The Cincinnati Reds baseball team signed him in May 2013 as an international free agent. He began his professional career by playing for the AZL Reds. He spent the 2014 season playing between the AZL Reds and the Single-A Dayton Dragons and spend the 2015 season with the Dayton and played a single game for the Triple-A Louisville Bats. Chadwick was with the advanced Single-A Daytona Tortugas throughout the 2016 season.

In January 2020, he signed a minor league contract with the San Francisco Giants and in July that same year, the Giants called him up to the majors for the first time where he made his MLB debut for the Giants. He was non-tendered by the Giants in December 2020.



Chadwick was claimed off waivers by the Atlanta Braves in September 2021 and was optioned to the Triple-A Gwinnett Stripers. He cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Gwinnett Stripers in April 2022 by the Braves.
