Armani was born on December 4, 1997, in Buffalo, New York, and is the son of former NFL linebacker Sam Rogers.

He was raised in Los Angeles and graduated from Alexander Hamilton High School, where as a senior he rushed for 431 yards and six touchdowns and passed for 1,433 yards and 18 scores.
