Michael John Graydon Soroka, professionally called Mike Soroka is a professional baseball player of Canadian descent. He plays as a pitcher for the Atlanta Braves baseball team and earns an annual salary of $2.8 million from the Braves.

Mike was born and raised in Calgary, Canada on August 4, 1997. He is the son of Gary Soroka and Sally Soroka. Mike played high school baseball at Bishop Carroll High School where he was also a student. During his senior year, he committed to playing college baseball for the University of California.

He was drafted by the Atlanta Braves baseball team in the 2015 MLB draft and was assigned to play for the GCL Braves that same season to begin his professional career. He was later reassigned to the Danville Braves where he played till the 2015 minor league ended.

In the 2016 minor league season, he played with the Rome Braves and spent the 2017 season with the Mississippi Braves. He also played in the All-Star Futures Games in 2017. His 2018 season was spent with the Gwinnett Stripers of the Class AAA International League.

The Braves promoted him to the major leagues in May 2018 and he made his MLB debut that day when the Braves faced the New York Mets.
