Dayton Lane Hall (born September 19, 1998) is a professional baseball pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles.

Hall began his high school career at Valdosta High School in Valdosta, Georgia, before moving to Houston County High School in Warner Robins, Georgia.



He was 6–1 with a 1.81 earned run average (ERA) and 89 strikeouts as a junior. He participated in the Under Armour All-America Baseball Game at Wrigley Field and the Perfect Game All-American Game at Petco Park in the summer of 2016.

Hall returned to Valdosta before his senior year. Hall has committed to playing collegiate baseball at Florida State University.

Hall was drafted in the first round of the 2017 Major League Baseball draft by the Baltimore Orioles. He signed with the Orioles and was sent to the GCL Orioles, where he threw 10.1 innings and allowed eight earned runs.

In 22 games with the Delmarva Shorebirds in 2018, he went 2-7 with a 2.10 ERA and a 1.17 WHIP (twenty starts).

Hall pitched for the Frederick Keys in 2019, with a 4-5 record with a 3.46 ERA in 19 games (17 starts), striking out 116 batters in 80 3 innings. Hall has been selected to play in the 2019 All-Star Futures Game.
