His parents are Dany Toussaint and Kahaso Kiti. Touki’s mom came to settle in Florida with him when he was six years old. He started non-professional baseball at Coral Springs Charter School where he played as a freshman and later transferred to Coral Springs Christian Academy.
The Arizona Diamondbacks selected him during the 2014 MLB draft after he was considered one of the top prospects for the draft. Touki agreed to play for them and signed into the team. He was then given an amount of $2.7 million as a signing bonus.
He made his professional debut that year playing in minor league with the Arizona League Diamondbacks. The Diamondbacks promoted him to the Missoula Osprey that season. The Atlanta Braves purchased his contract from the Diamondbacks in June 2015 and he has been with the Braves since then.
