Kervin Castro, full name Kervin Alexander Castro is one of the professional baseball pitchers with the San Francisco Giants baseball team. He was born and raised in Venezuela on February 7, 1999. He has been with the Giants since 2015.

Kervin Castro had his high school amateur career and college career in Venezuela before he was signed by the San Francisco Giants. The Giants signed him as an international free agent in 2015. He received a signing bonus of $100,000 from the Giants after he agreed to play for them.

He then began his professional career by playing for the Rookie-level DSL Giants in the Dominican Summer League. He could not play any game during the 2017 baseball season as he got injured. He underwent a Tommy John surgery so the team placed him on their injured list for the season.

By the time the 2019 season began, Kervin had fully recovered so he spent the season playing in both mid-season and post-season for the Northwest League All-Star and the Class A Short Season Salem-Keizer Volcanoes.

The Giants added him to their active 40-man roster after the 2020 baseball season. He was called up to the majors in September 2021. He made his MLB debut a day after he was called to the majors.
