He was picked in the fourth round of the 2006 MLB draft by the Tampa Bay Rays, and he made his MLB debut in 2011. From 2011 to 2017, he was a member of the Rays, the Baltimore Orioles from 2018 to 2020, and the Los Angeles Angels in 2021.
