Chris Taylor is 31 years old. H was born on  August 29, 1990 



 

Christopher Armand Taylor Jr. is a Major League Baseball utility player who currently plays for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

He formerly played for the Seattle Mariners in Major League Baseball. He was a member of the Virginia Cavaliers baseball team in college.



Taylor was drafted in the fifth round of the 2012 Major League Baseball draft and made his MLB debut in 2014 with the Seattle Mariners.

Taylor won the NLCS Most Valuable Player Award in 2017, was a part of the World Series champions in 2020, and was an All-Star in 2021 after being traded to the Dodgers.

Taylor was a member of the wrestling team at Great Neck Middle School in Virginia Beach, Virginia, where he won a municipal wrestling title.

He gave up wrestling to focus on baseball at Frank W. Cox High School, also in Virginia Beach. In 2009, he was selected All-Tidewater Region Player of the Year.

The University of Virginia and the College of William and Mary both sought Taylor to play college baseball.

He attended Virginia University and played college baseball for the Virginia Cavaliers of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC).

Taylor had limited action as a freshman, with Tyler Cannon, an All-ACC shortstop, getting the most of the starts.

In the summer of 2010, he was a member of the NECBL’s Newport Gulls.

Stephen Bruno was chosen as the Cavaliers’ starting shortstop at the start of his sophomore season, while Taylor started the season as the team’s right fielder.

When Bruno suffered a hamstring injury, Taylor took over as the starting shortstop and kept it once Bruno recovered.
