Yu Darvish has been married twice. It’s unclear when and how the attractive Japanese TV personality and actress Saeko Dokyu and the baseball player from Japan first met.
On August 9, 2007, the baseball player revealed that they were dating in a post-game interview, which served as the first official confirmation of their relationship.
On November 11, 2007, almost two months after the announcement, they got married in Japan. The official wedding took place in Hawaii later that year.
Many newspapers claimed that their marriage was a shotgun wedding to cover up the embarrassment of pre-marital sex and the actress’s pregnancy, and Darvish has already spoken about the actress’ pregnancy with their first kid.
They welcomed a son as their first child on March 24, 2008. They welcomed their second child on February 26, 2010.
In 2012, their marriage ended abruptly. Both parties gave notice that Darvish had divorced his wife Saeko formally in addition to signing an international contract with the Texas Rangers to play in America.
They believed that a healthy home environment was necessary for the upbringing of their children.
Yu Darvish was associated with four-time world champion and international wrestler Seiko Yamamato when he immigrated to the United States.
Darvish and Yamamato have been dating ever then. On July 30, 2015, Darvish revealed that his wrestling girlfriend had given birth to their first child.
Later, it came to light that the couple had become newlyweds and parents. The couple also shares custody of another boy’s child.
Compared to the previous marriage to TV personality Saeko, their relationship unquestionably seems healthier.
