Dalton Risner is an offensive guard for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League. 142 kg and 1.96 m tall is his weight and height. The Denver Post named him an all-state player in 2012 and 2013 after he graduated from Wiggins High School. For Wiggins High School, he was a player.
He played college football from 2014 through 2018 for the Kansas State Wildcats at Kansas State University. He redshirted his true freshman year in 2014, but in 2015, he made 13 starts at center and was selected to the Campus Insiders First Team Freshman All-America as well as the second teams of Athlon and Scout.
He started each of the 12 regular-season games in 2017 and all 13 of the games at right tackle in 2016. In the 51 games he took part in while in college, he started 50 of them. With the 41st overall pick in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos selected Risner.
By the end of the season, just 10 rookies in the NFL had started each of their first 16 games. For the second year in a row, he began each of the 16 games, allowing no sacks and committing no fouls. He started 15 games in 2021, which accounted for the third-most offensive line snaps (832). He was put on injured reserve on January 5, 2022, meaning he was unable to play that season.
