Tylor Megill is an American professional baseball pitcher for the New York Mets of Major League Baseball who signed with the Mets and debuted with the Brooklyn Cyclones, finishing 1-2 with a 3.21 ERA in 28 bullpen innings.



In 2019, he began the season with the Columbia Fireflies before being promoted to the St. Lucie Mets and the Binghamton Rumble Ponies.

Megill finished 6-7 with a 3.52 ERA in 22 games (11 starts) between the three organizations, striking out 92 hitters in 713 innings. Megill did not play in a game in 2020 since the minor league season was canceled due to the COVID-19 epidemic. Megill will return to Binghamton, which is currently in the Double-A Northeast League, in 2021.



On June 1, he was promoted to the Syracuse Mets of the Triple-A East League after pitching to a 3.12 ERA in 26 innings with Binghamton.
He was named to the 40-man roster and promoted to the main leagues for the first time on June 23, 2021.

On that day, he made his major league debut against the Atlanta Braves, pitching 413 innings, allowing three hits and two earned runs (one home run allowed), two walks, and four strikeouts on 92 pitches. He was given a no-decision as the Mets won the game 7–3.

Megill earned his first big league victory on July 23rd, tossing six scoreless innings against the Toronto Blue Jays.
