Mitchell Lynn Garver (born January 15, 1991) is an American Major League Baseball catcher for the Texas Rangers (MLB). He formerly played for the Minnesota Twins in Major League Baseball.



The Minnesota Twins selected him in the ninth round of the 2013 Major League Baseball draft. In his debut professional season, he batted.243 in 56 games for the Elizabethton Twins.

He participated in the Arizona Fall League following the 2015 season. Garver played the 2016 season with the Chattanooga Lookouts and the Rochester Red Wings, where he hit.270 with 11 home runs and 66 RBI.

For the second year in a row, he played in the Arizona Fall League following the season. Following the season, he was added to the Twins’ 40-man roster.

Garver was promoted from AAA to the major leagues to play for the Twins in 2017. Garver made his debut on August 19, 2017. The next day, he recorded his first major league hit, and he appeared in 23 games that year, batting.196 (9-for-46) with 3 RBI.
