Zac Lowther is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2021.

The Baltimore Orioles chose Lowther in the second round, with the 74th generally speaking determination, of the 2017 MLB draft.

He turned into the most noteworthy draft pick from Xavier’s baseball program. Lowther signed with the Orioles, getting a $779,500 signing bonus

He pitched for the Aberdeen IronBirds of the Class A-Short Season New York-Penn League after he marked, going 2-2 with a 1.66 ERA in 12 games (11 starts).

He started the 2018 season with the Delmarva Shorebirds of the Class A South Atlantic League.

In May, the Orioles elevated Lowther to the Frederick Keys of the Class A-Advanced Carolina League and he completed the season there.

Lowther enjoyed the 2019 season with the Bowie Baysox of the Class AA Eastern League, going 13-7 with a 2.55 ERA north of 26 beginnings, striking out 154 players more than 148 innings.

Lowther didn’t play in a game in 2020 because of the crossing out of the Minor League Baseball season in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.

On November 20, 2020, Lowther was added to the 40-man list.
