Matt Haack plays American football as a punter for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League. He is 93 kilograms and 1.83 meters tall. In 2013, he received his diploma from Dowling Catholic High School. Rivals.com ranked him as the No. 15 kicker in the country and the No. 10 recruit in the state of Iowa.
For his outstanding high school career, he was honored by being inducted into the Dowling Catholic High School/St. Joseph Academy Athletic Hall of Fame in September 2018. From 2013 through 2016, he played collegiate football with the Arizona State Sun Devils while he was a student at the University of Arizona. He handled all of the team’s punts as a senior. He averaged 44.4 on 66 punts for 2,897 net yards.
The Miami Dolphins signed undrafted free agent Haack to a three-year, $1.67 million deal in May 2017. He re-signed in April 2020 to a $2.133 million, one-year deal. He agreed to a three-year deal with the Buffalo Bills on March 18, 2021. After Matt Araiza, a rookie, won the punter job, he was dismissed on August 22, 2022. Haack agreed to a one-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts on August 24, 2022.
