Jimmy Nelson Parents: Meet Deborah Goodwin And Jim Nelson

Jimmy Nelson is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has also played in MLB for the Milwaukee Brewers.

During Nelson’s occupancy with the Brewers in the 2017 season, he suffered an apparent shoulder injury while sliding to first base, and left the game.

Results from the injury indicated that Nelson was diagnosed with a right rotator cuff strain and a partial anterior labrum tear.

The injury, which was not that severe allowed him to complete the 2017 year with a 12–6 record, 199 strikeouts, and a 3.49 ERA.

He played for the Milwaukee Brewers until 2021 when he signed a one-year, $1.25 million, contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers that also included an option for 2021.

Ardent fans of Nelson thought he would play for the Dodgers after his signing but it was later announced that Nelson would undergo surgery on his lower back and would miss the entire season.
