Joey Bart, real name Joseph Andrew Bart is a professional baseball player who serves as a catcher for the San Francisco Giants baseball team. He has a height of 1.87 m with a weight of 108 kg.
Joey was born and raised in Burford in Georgia where he began his non-professional career playing baseball at Buford High School in Buford, Georgia. When he completed high school, he was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 2015 MLB draft but he did not sign with them.
Joey played college baseball for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Before he graduated from college, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod Baseball League (CCBL) in 2016 where he has named a league All-Star.
The San Francisco Giants selected him in the second overall pick of the 2016 MLB draft. He agreed to play for the Giants and signed with them for $7,025,000.
