Christopher Morel Height: How Tall Is Christopher Morel?

Chris Morel, a 20th-ranked prospect by MLB.com, has been promoted to the Iowa Cubs’ Triple-A affiliate. It was Morel’s Triple-A debut on Wednesday night for Iowa as an infielder/outfielder, a 22-year-old.

The Iowa Cubs have made another huge acquisition, this time in the form of outfielder Brennen Davis, the top prospect in the system.

The Cubs signed Dominican shortstop Morel to a multi-year contract in 2015. He has spent the whole 2021 season with the Tennessee Smokies of Double-A, where he has a slash line of .220/.300/.432. He also smashed 17 home runs and 17 doubles in his career.

The Cubs intended to give Morel more playing time as the Smokies’ Double-A season came to a conclusion.

This was his first trip to Triple-A in his professional career, thus they promoted him there. A five-game series in St. Paul, Minnesota, began Wednesday night, with him joining the Iowa Cubs.

The Iowa Hawkeyes will host the Omaha Storm Chasers for a five-game series starting Wednesday, Sept. 29.

The “Triple-A Final Stretch,” a new postseason competition, includes the final ten games. One Triple-A squad will be dubbed “Triple-A Final Stretch Champion.”

The overall winning percentage of the 10-game stretch will determine the winner.
