Trevor R. Stephan is a Major League Baseball pitcher who currently pitches for the Cleveland Guardians. He was a baseball player for Hill College and the University of Arkansas in college.

Stephan went to Magnolia West High School, which is located in Magnolia, Texas. From his sophomore to senior year, he was a three-year varsity starter for the baseball team.

He was the cleanup hitter in the batting order and played third base or first base. He was also employed as a closer in the second half of his senior year of high school.

Stephan went to Hill College after graduating from Magnolia West. He pitched for two years at Hill College in college baseball.

Stephan had a 0–1 win–loss record, a 6.57 earned run average (ERA), and 19 strikeouts in 12+13 innings pitched as a freshman.

In his sophomore season, Stephan was mostly utilized as a closer or late-inning reliever, making 29 appearances, which was the second-most among all NJCAA D1 baseball pitchers in the country.

He earned NTJCAC first-team All-Conference accolades with an 8–1 record, 2.88 ERA, five saves, and 88 strikeouts in 68+23 innings pitched.

Stephan was selected by the Boston Red Sox in the 18th round of the 2016 MLB draft, with the 538th overall pick.

He had talks with the Red Sox but decided against signing with them, instead of transferring to the University of Arkansas.

In 91 innings pitched in 16 games started for the Arkansas Razorbacks in 2017, Stephan has a 6–3 win-loss record, a 2.87 earned run average and 120 strikeouts.
