Ian Edward Happ is a professional American Baseball outfielder who plays for the Chicago Cubs of Major League Baseball. Ian Happ was born on August 12, 1994. Happ is known to have played college baseball at the University of Cincinnati for the Cincinnati Bearcats team.

Happ in his early years attended Mt. Lebanon High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He recorded with them a hit. 449, 12 home runs 65 batter runs in a period of 4 seasons.
