Chad Williams is a free agency-wide receiver in American football. He attended Grambling State University and played football. He was picked in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals. He also spent time with the Indianapolis Colts.

Williams was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the third round (98th overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft. Williams was selected as the 12th wide receiver in the 2017 draft. Williams was signed by the Arizona Cardinals on May 18, 2017, to a four-year, $3.17 million contract that includes a $706,288 signing bonus.

On September 17, 2017, in Week 2, Williams caught his first career pass, a 15-yard pass from quarterback Carson Palmer, in the Indianapolis Colts’ 16–13 overtime victory. Williams scored his first career touchdown in Week 4 of the 2018 season on a 22-yard reception from Josh Rosen in a 20–17 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
He ended with 17 receptions for 171 yards and one touchdown on the season.

Williams was waived by the Cardinals on August 31, 2019.
Williams was added to the Indianapolis Colts practice squad on September 2, 2019.
On December 3, 2019, he was upgraded to the active roster.

Williams was waived by the Colts on August 24, 2020, with an injury designation, and was then placed on the team’s injured reserve list the following day. On September 2, 2020, he was waived as part of an injury settlement.
On September 30, 2020, Williams was signed to the Kansas City Chiefs‘ practice squad.

On November 19, 2020, he was released and re-signed to the practice squad on December 18. On December 22, he was released. On January 14, 2021, he signed a reserve/future contract. On August 17, 2021, he was released.
