The Chicago White Sox are an American professional baseball team based in Chicago. The White Sox competes in Major League Baseball as a member club of the American League Central division.
The team is said to be owned by Jerry Reinsdorf who spearheads the affairs of the organization. The team is said to play their home games at the Guaranteed Rate Field, which is located on Chicago’s South Side.
The Chicago White Sox on May 28, 2021, unveiled their new Nike MLB City Connect uniform – the third of seven teams scheduled to do so during this collection’s inaugural campaign.
The Jersey is said to have the colours of a dark grey uniform base with white pinstripes, a reverse of the club’s typical home set, with “Southside” scripted across the front in their familiar Gothic-style typeface.
According to reports the uniform draws inspiration from Windy City’s “Greystone” architectural style and has the team’s logo which is a sock on the black diamond embedded on its arm.
