Corey Kluber is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball(MLB). He used to play in the MLB for the Cleveland Indians, Texas Rangers and New York Yankees before becoming a player for the Tampa Bay Rays.
During the 2007 MLB draft,  Corey was selected by the San Diego Padres baseball team in the fourth round.  After signing with the Padres, are received a $200,000 signing bonus. He was named the Midwest League Pitcher of the Week on August 25, 2008.

Corey has five pitching styles: a four-seam fastball, a sinker with a two-seam fastball grip, a cutter, a breaking ball and a changeup. His most dominant pitches are his two-seam sinker which he learned in 2011 as a member of the Columbus Clippers and his breaking ball which often resembles a slider and a curveball.

He is also known for his solidity while on the field. His height is 1.93 m. Corey made his MLB debut in 2011 as a member of the Cleveland Indians baseball team.
