Francisco José Meja, a Dominican professional baseball catcher and outfielder for the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball, was born on October 27, 1995. (MLB).

He formerly played for the Cleveland Indians and San Diego Padres in Major League Baseball. Meja was born in the Dominican Republic, in the town of Bani.  He received his education at Las Carreras de Ban.
