George Valera, an American professional baseball outfielder with the Cleveland Guardians, was born on November 13, 2000.

When he was 13 years old, Valera and his family relocated from Queens, New York, to San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic. In July 2017, he joined the Cleveland Indians as an unrestricted foreign free agent.

In 2018, Valera made his professional debut with the Indians of the Arizona League, going 6-for-6 while batting.333.
