Matt Rhule’s real name Matthew Kenneth Rhule, is an American football coach in the National Football League (NFL). He is also a former football player for Penn State. Rhule is a three-time Penn State Scholar-Athlete and an Academic All-Big Ten honoree.

Born on January 31, 1975, Rhule is the current head coach for the Carolina Panthers. He joined the team on January 7, 2020.

Prior to being a part of the Panther Coaching Staff, Rhule coached began his coaching career at Albright College as linebackers’ coach. He joined the New York Giants in 2012, Temple (2013 to 2016), Baylor (2017 to 2019).
