The iconic Halloween movie from the 1990s, Hocus Pocus 2, will finally receive the follow-up it deserves. Just in time for Halloween, the movie will be released in a matter of days on Disney Plus.

Nearly 30 years after the release of the first film, in the Disney Plus-only sequel Hocus Pocus 2, Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Midler, and Kathy Najimy will reprise their roles as the recognizable Sanderson sisters.

These three delightfully terrible sisters are poised to wreak havoc on Salem, Massachusetts, on All Hallow’s Eve, and it’s up to a new group of kids to try to stop their scheme once more.

It’s encouraging to learn that Winifred, Sarah, and Mary Sanderson will once again be portrayed by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy as a Hocus Pocus movie wouldn’t be complete without the Sanderson sisters.

Doug Jones (The Shape of Water, What We Do in the Shadows) will return as Billy Butcherson.
Billy, Winifred’s zombie ex-boyfriend, helped Max, Dani, Allison, and Binx vanquish the sisters the first time.
