Another one of his major works is the theme song “Aw, Here It Goes” for the Nickelodeon show “Kenan & Kel,” which he wrote.

The third album by the rapper, My Soul, was released in 1997, and the song C U When U Get There reached its highest position on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 12. This album marked his final time recording with Tommy Boy.

In later years, he kept making more studio albums, like Coolio.com in 2001, El Cool Magnifico in 2022, The Return of the Gangsta in 2006, Steal Hear in 2008, and From the Bottom 2 the Top in 2009.

After his success in the music industry began to dwindle, Coolio made a splash on Celebrity Big Brother in 2009.

Even more impressively, Gangsta’s Paradise garnered two Grammy nominations for Record of the Year and Best Rap Solo Performance, with the rapper winning the latter.
