The answer may surprise you! I’m going to tell you about this infectious disease and provide you with some tips on how to stay safe from it, but before I do so, let me give you an overview of what the monkeypox virus actually is.

What is Monkeypox?

According to research and medical science, Monkeypox is a viral disease. In monkeys, it is usually transmitted through close contact with other infected monkeys, or through food contaminated by infected animals.



It can also be passed from an infected human. In humans, it spreads between people during direct contact with an infected person’s rash or saliva. Most infections occur during travel in areas where monkeypox is common among wild animals such as rodents and primates.

Is There Monkeypox Virus In Nigeria?

There is a raging debate about whether or not Monkeypox exists. Many government officials say that it does exist and that they have it under control, but others don’t believe these claims.

But as per our research, we believe that the monkeypox virus is in Nigeria as it is listed among African countries with the virus.
