Late Saturday night in Philadelphia, a gunman opened fire on a large crowd, killing three people including Kristopher Minners, and injuring 11 others in a mass shooting. The incident occurred in Philadelphia.

Many gunshots were apparently heard shortly before midnight in the bustling downtown neighborhood of South Street, with claims of “many gunmen” on the scene. Multiple gunshots were heard, according to the police.

A police officer responded to the gunfire by firing one shot in the direction of a probable gunman, according to a statement released to NBC Philadelphia by Philadelphia Police Inspector DF Pace. One of the suspects, according to the authorities, threw down their gun and fled the scene.



As a result of being caught in the crossfire, 14 people were hurt. In the end, three people—two men and one woman—died in the hospital from gunshot wounds.

The three victims slain in the event have been identified as Kristopher Minners, 22, Alexis Quinn, 27, and Gregory “Japan” Jackson, 34, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer.
