Alfred Kwarteng, who was born on May 26th, 1975, has been the Member of Parliament for Spelthorne since 2010. He holds the position that he was elected to in 2010.



In the years 2021 and 2022, he was the Secretary of State for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy, and in the months of September and October 2022, he was the Chancellor of the Exchequer.
