Ted Hendricks
Ted Hendricks is a Guatemalan-American former American football player who was an outside linebacker for 15 seasons in the National Football league (NFL) He played for the likes of Baltimore Colts, Green Bay Packers, and the Las Vegas Raiders. He played for nine seasons for the Raiders before retiring after the 1983 season.
He made 57 tackles, 6 sacks, knocked down 5 passes while picking off one, and blocked 2 punts. The Raiders defense was 6th in the NFL in sacks but did not finish in the top ten in points allowed or total defense. The Raiders won Super Bowl XI, the first in franchise history, and the first of three Super Bowl titles in seven seasons. Hendricks was second-team All-Pro for the first of three consecutive years.
Matt Millen
The Las Vegas Raiders with the draft’s 43rd overall selection in the second round in the 1980 NFL Draft. During his NFL career, he was selected to play in one Pro Bowl (in 1988). Millen finished his 12 NFL seasons with 11 sacks and 9 interceptions, which he returned for 132 yards, and 8 fumble recoveries. He also returned 7 kickoffs for 72 yards. Tackles were not recorded at that time.
Phil Villapiano
Phil Villapiano was selected by the Silver and Black in the second round (No. 45 overall) of the 1971 NFL Draft out of Bowling Green State, where he was selected Mid-American Conference Player of the Year as a senior. He is known for being the 1976 Member of the Oakland Raiders Super Bowl XI winning team.
Greg Biekert
Greg Biekert was drafted by the Raiders in the seventh round of the 1993 NFL Draft and played in 144 games with 123 starts. He led the Raiders in tackles for six seasons, including four straight years (1998–2001).
Rod Martin
Regarded as one of the top linebackers in the NFL during his 12 seasons, Rod Martin made the Pro Bowl twice during his career, in 1983 and 1984.
Martin recorded 14 interceptions, which he returned for 225 yards and 4 touchdowns, along with 10 fumble recoveries, which he returned for 122 yards and two touchdowns. He also recorded 33 and a half official sacks (sacks were not an official statistic until 1982, Martin’s 5th season).
