Who is Lauro Cavazos?

Lauro Fred Cavazos Jr. was an American educator and politician.



He served as the United States Secretary of Education and was the first Hispanic to serve in the United States Cabinet.

Born on January 4, 1927, in Kingsville, Texas, in the United States of America, Lauro is said to have married his wife Peggy Cavazos in 1954.



Lauro is affiliated with the  Democratic Party and is said to be a proud father of ten children with her wife.

Cavazo is said to have passed away in Concord, Massachusetts on March 15, 2022, at the age of 95
