Lewis Hamilton is a British race car driver who is widely regarded as one of the most successful drivers in the history of Formula One (F1) Grand Prix racing.
Hamilton has won three of the sport’s most prestigious championships. He holds the record for the most career victories in Formula One races and is now tied with Michael Schumacher for the most drivers’ championships (seven).

After that, he went on to take part in the Formula Three Euroseries competition the next year.
In 2005, he won the championship, and the following year, in 2006, he joined a team that was racing in GP2 (Grand Prix 2), which is a race series meant to assist drivers train for F1.
In his only season in GP2, he won the championship, making him the most successful driver in GP2 history.
